Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations for 20+ accounts
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits and tax season
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables), and Xero
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
