Responsibilities
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that all bank statements match the company's internal records.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify accuracy of charges, and ensure timely payments to vendors while tracking accounts receivable.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of tax documents and support internal or external audits by providing requested documentation and records.
- Expense Management: Review and categorize expense reports submitted by team members to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Data Analysis: Utilize financial software and spreadsheets to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Graduates encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and ethical standards when handling sensitive financial data.
