Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Support payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Perform data entry in QuickBooks with 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct expense report audits and budget variance analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation
- Maintain organized financial records per GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2023-2024 graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- 1+ years internship or academic accounting experience preferred
