Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Assist with tax preparation and audit processes as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills for client collaboration and reporting
- Oklahoma CPA license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
