Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 client portfolios including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for S-Corporations and Partnerships
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and NetSuite platforms
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for client operations
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Develop customized financial models for strategic decision-making support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel with advanced functions
- Deep knowledge of California tax regulations and S-Corporation compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a remote environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience with virtual team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana, Zoom)
