Job Overview:
As a Full-Time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with our accounting team to deliver reliable financial data that supports business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on a timely basis.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
