Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll bi-weekly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and improve accounting processes for efficiency
- Train junior staff on accounting software procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of full-time bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
