Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios including A/P, A/R, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and reconciliations
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance with PA state regulations
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems with custom reporting
- Coordinate annual audits and provide supporting documentation
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
- Develop process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Expertise in GAAP principles and PA tax regulations
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced pivot table and VLOOKUP skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CPA or EA certification preferred
