Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records using accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks)
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage payroll processing and associated compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with tax preparation and VAT submissions
- Implement and improve financial controls and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proven expertise with Xero or QuickBooks software
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification essential
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Professional communication and client-facing experience
