Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process monthly payroll for 50+ employees
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and ledgers
- Prepare VAT returns and quarterly financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Assist with year-end audits and HMRC compliance
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-time bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Experience with Xero and QuickBooks Pro
- Proven track record of error-free financial reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
