- Reconcile patient accounts and monthly financial statements
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
- Implement process improvements to reduce AR days and improve cash flow
- Train junior billing staff on coding protocols and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or large clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or similar EMR/billing platforms
- Proven track record of reducing claim denial rates by 20%+
