Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Analyze denials and implement corrective actions
- Manage patient billing inquiries and payment plans
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in all billing activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams on charge capture optimization
- Generate monthly revenue reports for leadership
- Train staff on billing system updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic and Medisoft billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Massachusetts Medicaid protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
