- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and insurance denials through strategic follow-up
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document accurate billing codes and documentation
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to reduce accounts receivable days
- Train junior staff on billing systems and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with insurance verification expertise
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems and advanced Excel skills
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex claim resolution
- Experience with third-party payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies
