Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 150+ patient accounts daily
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and payment discrepancies
- Conduct thorough audits of billing documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with coding team to ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 assignment
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system usage
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim rejection rates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Proven ability to resolve complex billing disputes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
