- Analyze AR aging reports to optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with coding teams for accurate CPT/ICD-10 assignment
- Train billing staff on new compliance protocols
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR systems
- Conduct quarterly audits for HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in California
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and NextGen
- Expertise in CA Medicaid Medi-Cal and Medicare regulations
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Strong analytical skills with Excel pivot table expertise
