Job Description
We're seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Portland. You'll be the backbone of our revenue cycle operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing across multiple insurance platforms. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 200+ patient accounts using Epic EMR systems
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials through direct payer negotiations
- Reconcile daily charge entries with payment postings in NetSuite
- Analyze aging reports to identify and collect outstanding receivables
- Train junior staff on billing compliance protocols and ICD-10 coding updates
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in Epic Resolute and NetSuite billing modules
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and ACA compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Proven track record of reducing A/R days by 20%+
