Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and timely to ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Review and verify billing data for errors, discrepancies, and compliance with company policies and state regulations.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and initiate collection processes when necessary.
- Collaborate with the accounts receivable and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and customer inquiries.
- Maintain and update billing records in the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Salesforce).
- Prepare monthly billing reports and reconciliation statements for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and advanced experience with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
