Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for complex commercial accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment inquiries within SLAs
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams on contract pricing implementations
- Analyze billing data for revenue leakage and process improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA/UB-04)
- Train junior staff on billing systems and procedures
- Generate monthly billing performance reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 forms
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
