- Process and submit electronic/daily claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through insurance verification and appeals
- Reconcile A/R reports and maintain 95%+ clean claim ratio
- Train billing staff on CPT/ICD-10 coding updates and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA compliance and billing regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR and Athenahealth systems
- Proven track record of reducing A/D days by 20%+
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing 500+ accounts monthly
