- Prepare monthly aging reports and analyze AR metrics for process optimization
- Train junior staff on billing software and regulatory updates (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure charge accuracy
- Implement new billing protocols to reduce claim denials by 15%
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Excellent communication abilities for insurance negotiations
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts receivable cycles
