Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and timely using our billing software.
- Monitor accounts receivable and initiate follow-up procedures for outstanding balances.
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries regarding invoices.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly billing reports and financial statements.
- Ensure all billing activities comply with HIPAA and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve revenue collection processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical or commercial billing.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., AthenaHealth, Epic, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and compliance regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
