Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process customer invoices with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and initiate follow-up procedures for overdue payments.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer complex inquiries from clients regarding statements and payment history.
- Reconcile monthly billing statements and credit memos to ensure data integrity.
- Utilize billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to update account status and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the collections team to facilitate payment plans when necessary.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all billing documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) required.
- Experience with ERP systems and billing software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
