Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized financial guidance
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries and transaction disputes efficiently
- Adhere to strict compliance protocols and security procedures
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
- Train and mentor junior tellers on banking operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling or banking experience
- Proven ability to maintain 100% transaction accuracy
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, EFTA, BSA)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
