Responsibilities
- Process transactions with precision including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services
- Maintain accurate cash balances and adhere to strict security protocols
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding accounts, fees, and digital banking tools
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Balance cash drawer daily and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist branch manager with daily operational oversight
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling or banking experience
- Proven ability to maintain 100% cash accuracy
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Associate's degree in business or finance preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
