Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and currency exchanges with precision
- Identify and cross-sell financial products (credit cards, loans, accounts) based on client needs
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding account balances, fees, and digital banking tools
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions with 100% accuracy
- Train junior tellers on branch procedures and customer service excellence
- Contribute to branch growth through proactive community engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling or financial services experience
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and cross-sell financial products
- Proficiency with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with diverse clientele
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Valid California Notary Public certification preferred
- College degree in Finance/Business or equivalent experience
