Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with focus on process optimization
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Maintain internal controls and implement SOX compliance procedures
- Mentor junior accounting staff and improve team workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or SaaS
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
