Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict adherence to GAAP.
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, identifying variances and reconciling accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in external audits and tax filings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
