Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client review
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Implement financial controls and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction processing and reporting
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax filings and financial strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Strong understanding of Nebraska tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
