Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities for individual and business clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit procedures and documentation
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations and GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
