Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 5 business days
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Coordinate with procurement and treasury teams for payment optimization
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Analyze payment trends and provide monthly AP performance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and 1099 processing
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for vendor negotiations
