Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions (50+ invoices daily) using Oracle ERP systems
- Conduct 3-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to prevent overpayments
- Manage vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Optimize payment cycles through ACH/wire processing and early payment discounts
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and GL accounts with zero-tolerance for variances
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor master data maintenance and W-9 compliance
- Implement process improvements using data analytics to reduce payment processing costs
- Serve as AP liaison during quarterly audits and tax filing season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Proven track record of automating AP processes and reducing DSO by 15%+
- Deep knowledge of sales/use tax compliance and payment regulations
- Certification in Accounts Payable (CAPP) or similar designation required
- Experience managing cross-functional AP teams and vendor relationship programs
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in reconciliation processes
