Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices with a 100% accuracy rate.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage the AP aging report and ensure all outstanding payments are accounted for.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment schedules and invoice inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) to track expenses and payments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
