Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment workflows to ensure timely and accurate disbursements
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to process expense reports and T&E reimbursements
- Implement and maintain internal controls for AP operations
- Analyze vendor payment data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls frameworks
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment cycles with 99.9% accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Experience with ERP system implementation a plus
