Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage month-end closing procedures including reconciliations and journal entries
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for executive leadership
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate internal/external audits and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Analyze financial data for variance reporting and forecasting
- Serve as primary contact for departmental budget tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- SAP/Oracle ERP implementation experience
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex financial workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
