Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved within 24 hours.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and generate accurate financial reports, ledgers, and variance analysis.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the auditing process by providing organized records.
- Support the payroll function by verifying hours and processing adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
