Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to streamline financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Expertise in month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
