Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for client portfolios
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and year-end reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience managing multi-client bookkeeping portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP/Payroll) preferred
- Must be detail-oriented with organizational abilities
