Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and filing
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (training provided)
- QuickBooks certification a plus but not required
