Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems for efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance standards
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience in multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with high accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced client service environments
