Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership review.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audits with detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budget forecasting and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and detail.
