Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for Texas-based operations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Texas tax regulations and reporting requirements
