In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions to generate complex financial reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including macros and pivot tables).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
