Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and variance analysis.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
