Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL reconciliation and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using financial software tools
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in NYC market
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and NY tax regulations
