Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports for federal and state requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Support external audits and tax preparation activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
