Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and financial record maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with internal ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for audits and tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel) to track expenses and budgets.
- Generate weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) during employment.
