Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain the general ledger system.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
