As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in every transaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and send professional invoices to clients and vendors.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
