Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Process accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections follow-up.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks is required).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
