Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle accounts payable and receivable with high accuracy, ensuring all invoices are processed timely and correctly.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports for management review.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the monthly payroll cycle, verifying time cards and processing payments for employees.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure all financial data is up to date.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documents for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional Bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (specific hours to be discussed).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
